Effective date: August 29, 2026
American Select Peptides (“American Select,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates americanselectpeptides.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit the Site, create an account, contact us, or place an order.
This Site is an online store for products offered for lawful research purposes. It is not a healthcare service. Please do not submit medical records, diagnoses, treatment information, or other sensitive health information through the Site, its forms, or its search fields.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect information you provide when you create an account, place an order, request support, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with the Site, including:
- name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and account credentials;
- order details, customer-service messages, preferences, and information you choose to provide; and
- marketing and messaging preferences, including records of consent, opt-outs, and related timestamps.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers on our own servers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect:
- IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, referral source, and date and time of access;
- pages viewed, buttons or links selected, products viewed, cart and checkout activity, purchases, refunds, and other interactions;
- cookie identifiers, analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, campaign parameters, and click identifiers; and
- first-touch and last-touch marketing attribution, such as campaign source, medium, campaign name, and landing page.
Our attribution system is designed to store limited campaign information only after the relevant consent is provided. It removes URL query strings from stored landing-page values and clears attribution data if the applicable consent is withdrawn.
How we use information
We may use information to:
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- create and manage accounts;
- process orders, payments, shipping, returns, refunds, and customer-service requests;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized transactions;
- measure Site performance and understand how visitors find and use the Site;
- attribute sales and other actions to marketing campaigns and evaluate advertising performance;
- send transactional messages about accounts, orders, support, or policy changes;
- send marketing email or text messages when you have provided the consent required for that channel;
- personalize content or advertising when permitted and consented to; and
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.
Cookies and consent choices
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. These may include:
- Strictly necessary technologies, which support security, shopping-cart, checkout, account, and consent-preference functions;
- Analytics technologies, which help us understand traffic and Site performance; and
- Advertising technologies, which help measure campaigns, create audiences, and limit wasted advertising spend.
Where required, analytics and advertising technologies remain disabled until you make the relevant choice through our cookie-consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choices using the cookie settings available on the Site. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Blocking all cookies may prevent portions of the Site, including cart, checkout, login, or preference controls, from working correctly.
Google Analytics and Google advertising tools
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure Site use and commerce events. Depending on your consent choices and our configuration, Google Analytics may receive information such as page and event data, device and browser information, approximate location, a pseudonymous client identifier, campaign information, purchases, and refunds. Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie commonly named _ga when analytics storage is permitted. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
We use consent controls intended to prevent analytics or advertising storage when the applicable consent has not been granted. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, complete street addresses, medical information, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google’s partner-sites privacy page. You may also review Google’s Privacy Policy and available Google advertising and analytics controls.
Meta Business Tools
We may use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure advertising, attribute conversions, reduce duplicate event reporting, create or exclude audiences, and improve campaign delivery on Facebook and Instagram. When enabled and permitted by your consent choices, Meta may receive browser or device information, online identifiers, page and commerce events, and limited order or conversion information. Certain contact information may be normalized and cryptographically hashed before transmission for matching where permitted.
Meta describes its data practices in the Meta Privacy Policy. You can also manage advertising preferences through your Meta account and through the Site’s cookie settings.
Email, text messaging, and customer relationship management
If you provide contact information, we may use a customer relationship management platform and messaging providers to manage support, transactional communications, and consent-based marketing sequences. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message and opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. Transactional or legally required messages may still be sent when permitted.
We do not share mobile opt-in data or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- hosting, security, analytics, advertising, payment, fulfillment, shipping, customer-support, email, text-messaging, and CRM service providers that process information for us;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and authorities where reasonably necessary;
- a buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction; and
- other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or requested by you.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define the use of advertising cookies or disclosure of online identifiers to advertising partners as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising. Where applicable, you can opt out through the Site’s cookie settings or contact us using the method below.
Data retention
We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain transaction and consent records, meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligation. We may keep deidentified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain personal information; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, or sales. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification.
You may also:
- change cookie choices through the Site’s cookie settings;
- unsubscribe from marketing email using the message link;
- reply STOP to opt out of marketing text messages; and
- adjust advertising preferences through Google, Meta, or your browser or device settings.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, technologies, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. If required, we will provide additional notice.
